At Southside Pediatrics our skilled team of providers offer medical care for your child from birth to 18 years of age. Conveniently located in the heart of Barry County, the providers and staff at Southside Pediatrics welcome any child who needs specialized comprehensive quality healthcare.

For your family's convenience, Southside Pediatrics opens at 7:30am Monday through Friday and offers after-school appointment times. For those children needing a same day sick appointment, be sure to call at 7:30am when the phones turn on. Our providers open additional appointment times each morning to help accommodate urgent medical needs. Your primary care provider is your best resource for treating your child!

Southside Pediatrics offers convenient ways to contact us about cancelling or changing your child's appointment. Whether you're using the patient portal or contacting the office, directly, we ask that you make changes 24 hours in advance of your child's appointment time. Cancelling in a timely manner allows us to accommodate the needs of all our patients.

As we continue in our efforts to provide our patients with the highest quality of care, we are also looking for methods to improve our communication with our parents and patients. We know how busy a parent’s schedule can get. The Patient Portal enables our parents or guardians to access their child’s health information and communicate with the staff easily, safely and securely via the internet. To sign up for this service, please ask the receptionist for our Patient Portal Agreement form and please provide your current email address to the receptionist.

Medical Home

A “Medical Home” means we trust you to:

Provide us with all the information you have regarding your child’s health and illnesses.
Follow the AAP guidelines and your provider's recommendations regarding routine newborn preventative care
Work together in the best interest of the child and the family
Provide us with the most up-to-date information regarding care your child receives outside this office
Annually schedule your child's routine physical so we can discuss your child's overall health, growth and behavior
Keep scheduled visits or reschedule your visits 24 hours in advance whenever possible
Call your doctor first with problems, unless it is a medical emergency
Administer all of the medicine as prescribed and follow the doctor’s advice
Learn about your insurance so you know what and how it provides coverage
Pay your share of the visit fee when your child is seen in the office
Respect us as individuals with skills and expertise in helping your child grow
